Built, Supported and Sold In-House: Meet the Team Behind Stok.ly

When you work with Stok.ly, you work with the people who built it. Our platform is designed and engineered in-house, our customers are onboarded and supported by in-house team. The six people you’ll meet below bring almost 100 years of combined experience across retail, wholesale, ecommerce, finance, software and operations.

Leadership:

Iain Coplans, Co-Founder and CEO, leads Stok.ly’s strategy, product direction and growth. Iain co-founded the business with Dan, led its investment from Midven through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, and speaks and publishes regularly on how technology and particularly AI is changing operational ERP.

Steven Wood, Chief Operating Officer, brings many years of operations and project management experience to the business, having worked for major corporations and more recently run his own successful ecommerce business. Steven oversees the implementation and support teams.

Engineering: the platform is built by our own team

Dan Preece, Co-Founder and Technical Director, leads the engineering behind Stok.ly, from order management and inventory control to integrations and AI PRO. Every capability we describe is built and maintained by our own engineers, so when something needs to change, the team who wrote it are the ones who update it.

Customer Success: the people who onboard you are the people who support you

Clara Kellock and Luke Baumforth work with customers from onboarding onwards, covering configuration, training and ongoing optimisation across channels, warehouses and integrations. Because they sit alongside our engineers, customer feedback goes straight to the people building the platform. Both Clara and Luke have worked widely across eCommerce, operations and project management.

Marketing: researched and written by people who know the product

Alison Fullarton, Marketing Manager leads Stok.ly’s in-house marketing team. Alison has spent her career helping new products find their place in the market, from the introduction of new finance products to working in the ever-changing world of property legislation.

Why in-house matters to you

Choosing an ERP is a long-term decision. Keeping engineering, support and communication within one team means fewer hand-offs, faster answers and information you can trust, because everyone you deal with at Stok.ly works on Stok.ly.
